Connor Murphy death rumours: Tony Huge claims fitness influencer drowned in Thailand lake, says he had "superhuman abilities"

Amid death rumours of American bodybuilder Connor Murphy, biohacking figure and celebrity fitness influencer Anthony Huge, also known as "Tony Huge" has spoken about his reported death. In a long video posted on his YouTube channel, Huge claimed that Connor Murphy had passed away after drowning in a lake.

What happened to Connor Murphy?

Tony Huge claimed Connor Murphy has died due to drowning. "First of all, Connor Murphy was living on a golf course in Bangkok, and it's very beautiful, and he has a nice house there. And it's literally on the water. Like, his back balcony is water. You can see from his Instagram and the things he posts. So, in the end, he drowned in his backyard lake, and there is a lot more things that led up to that, but that is how he ended up passing away - drowning. Up until his passing, he was discovering that he had achieved some superhuman abilities, and it's no joke; he actually did achieve some superhuman abilities. And a lot of his friends and I were supportive, of course, like a friend that has big dreams and of him achieving these abilities," Tony Huge said.

On his official X account, formerly known as Twitter, Tony Huge posted two videos with the caption: "Rest in Peace, Connor Murphy." (sic)



During a search of Connor Murphy's vehicle, officers recovered two unused syringes and several unidentified pills from a waist bag. However, investigators emphasized that these discoveries neither confirm nor rule out the cause of Connor Murphy's death, which remains under investigation pending autopsy and toxicology results.

Is Connor Murphy dead?

According to ThaiRath, American fitness influencer Connor Murphy died after a drowning incident in Thailand. But there has bee no official confirmation from his friends, representatives or family. Connor Murphy, a fitness YouTuber gained popularity for his looksmaxxing workouts.

According to reports, on July 7, 2026, a rescue team was dispatched to a luxury residential community in Bang Phli district, Samut Prakan province, after reports that Connor Murphy had entered a lake. Divers later recovered Connor Murphy's body about 20 meters from the shore. Authorities said there were no visible signs of foul play in his death. An autopsy and toxicology tests have been ordered, and the US Embassy will be notified as investigators continue to determine his cause of death.

Connor Murphy's girlfriend speaks up

Connor Murphy's 22-year-old girlfriend, whom he had been dating for around three years and had recently reunited with after spending time apart, told ThaiRath that she had never seen Connor Murphy use drugs and could not explain his unusual behavior in the hours leading up to the incident.

According to ThaiRath, a village worker captured video showing Connor Murphy acting erratically before police arrived. The footage reportedly showed the fitness influencer attempting to hand money to a driver, approaching a stranger's vehicle, shouting, rolling on the road, making prayer-like gestures, and displaying other unusual behavior.

When officers reached the area, Connor Murphy allegedly ran into the residential community before entering the lake. Police said Connor Murphy continued swimming until he became exhausted and disappeared beneath the water, which was more than 10 meters deep. Divers recovered Connor Murphy's body approximately 30 minutes later.

Investigators also searched the rental property where Connor Murphy had been staying, a home reportedly valued at around $600,000. The house was allegedly found with paint smeared across furniture, appliances, and other belongings.
