Lollapalooza to India.
One of the biggest names in the music festival game, Lollapalooza, are gearing up for their first ever gig in Asia, coming to Mumbai on the January 28 and 29, 2023.

First announced in July, this year, the festival started selling tickets soon after the announcement with many snapping up the early batch of tickets, with the lineup yet to be announced at that time.

The lineup was finally announced on November 3 to mixed reception from the internet. Despite featuring the likes of Imagine Dragons, The Strokes, AP Dhillon and Prateek Kuhad, the lineup has disappointed many ticketholders.

Ever since the announcement, many early ticketholders are choosing to sell them instead, taking to social networking site Twitter to make the sale.

Criticism of the lineup has been widespread, with one user saying the NH7 Weekender - a local music festival created by OML and sponsored by Bacardi - has had better lineups than Lollapalooza.

It's not all bad for the global music festival, however, with many celebrating the arrival of headliners Imagine Dragons and The Strokes, while Jackson Wang has also caused much rejoicing among fans.

As is tradition, the memes have also rolled in rapidly since the announcement, with many mocking the lineup and many others ruing the absence of some famous names.
