India will aim to boost its medal tally with a strong para powerlifting lineup, while swimmers, gymnasts, and boxers are also set to kick off their campaigns. The country’s schedule at the Commonwealth Games 2026 today, July 24, covers six sports and presents the first medal opportunities for the Indian contingent at the event.India’s boxing journey at Glasgow 2026 begins with Jadumani Singh taking on Scotland’s Aaron Cullen in a men’s 55kg round of 32 match at the Scottish Event Campus (SEC). Olympian Srihari Nataraj will also be seen in action in swimming, competing in heat 4 of the men’s 50m backstroke at the Tollcross International Swimming Centre. The semi-finals will take place past midnight if he qualifies.
