India will have a packed medal schedule at the Commonwealth Games 2026 on August 1, with 10 boxers, led by Lovlina Borgohain, competing for gold in Glasgow.

The day also features medal events in athletics, judo, para athletics and track cycling, while Gulveer Singh returns to the track aiming to add another medal to his campaign after winning silver in the men's 10,000m.

Lovlina leads India's biggest-ever boxing finals contingent

India's boxing team is on the verge of making history after all 10 finalists secured at least silver medals by winning their semi-finals.

Gulveer Singh, Priyanka Goswami among athletics medal hopes

India will also have several medal opportunities in athletics.

Gulveer Singh will compete in the men's 5,000m final, hoping to add to the silver medal he claimed in the 10,000m.

Olympian Priyanka Goswami will aim to upgrade her Birmingham 2022 silver when she competes in the women's 10,000m race walk final.

Meanwhile, Praveen Chithravel and Selva Prabhu Thirumaran will contest the men's triple jump final, while Dev Meena and Kuldeep Kumar feature in the men's pole vault final. India will also compete in the mixed 4x400m relay final.

Judokas look to continue historic campaign

India's judokas will look to build on their impressive start after Asmita Dey and Harsh Singh won the country's first-ever Commonwealth Games judo gold medals.

Unnati Sharma, Harsh Tokas, Karanjit Singh Maan and Inunganbi Takhellambam will all be in action on Saturday.

Bowls, para athletics and cycling also on schedule

In bowls, Navneet Singh and Dinesh Kumar face England in a crucial men's pairs match, with a place in the semi-finals at stake.

India will also compete in para athletics and track cycling, where several athletes will be aiming to reach medal rounds.
