Cold war between Virat Kohli and Sourav Ganguly continues as they unfollow each other on Instagram
For those who are unaware of the reasons for this undecidedly cold war, over a year ago, Virat Kohli was removed as the ODI captainship after he stepped down as the T20I skipper. But owing to the differing kinds of statements from both Ganguly, th...

But now, the rift has taken a turn for the worse, as both people have unfollowed each other on Instagram.
This happened a day after the DC mentor avoided shaking hands with Kohli after RCB beat DC by 23 runs at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Saturday.
Also, one particular video went viral on social media platforms where Virat Kohli was seen giving Ganguly a death stare after taking a catch during RCB's game with DC. RCB won the match by 23 runs.
In a video circulating on social media from Saturday's game, Ganguly was spotted skipping the queue to avoid a handshake with Kohli after DC head coach Ricky Ponting stopped the RCB batter during the post-match customary handshakes.

A week later, Kohli made a stunning revelation at a press conference during India's tour of South Africa in 2021 that there was no communication between him and the selection committee about the change in ODI leadership and he was told hours before the selection meeting for Test series that selectors have decided that he won't be the captain.
Kohli had contradicted Ganguly that the selectors had sounded him over the captaincy issue.
Meanwhile, Sourav Ganguly praised Kohli for his impressive form during the Asia Cup back in 2022. He even broke his century duck during India's final match of the tournament against Afghanistan. “I think he is more skilful than I’m,” Ganguly had commented.
