A day before its planned protest in Delhi, the self-described youth pressure group "Cockroach Janta Party" (CJP) stepped up its campaign against Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, urging Prime Minister Narendra Modi to remove him from office. At the same time, the group released a detailed list of dos and don'ts for supporters attending the proposed demonstration, advising them to carry the national flag and a book, record proceedings, stay hydrated, and avoid engaging with anyone attempting to provoke confrontation, stressing that the protest should remain peaceful and disciplined.

The group's founder, Abhijeet Dipke, is expected to arrive in the national capital on Saturday morning ahead of a proposed peaceful sit-in protest at Jantar Mantar. The demonstration is aimed at pressing for changes in the education system and demanding accountability from the Education Ministry.

According to CJP representatives, supporters have been asked to gather near Parliament Street Police Station at 9 am, where organisers plan to formally seek permission for a peaceful protest at Jantar Mantar.


Dipke, who is currently travelling from Boston, shared an update on social media before his arrival.

"On my way to India… Leaving my fate in the hands of the Constitution. #JaiBhim," he wrote on X.


The planned protest is expected to draw activists, students and supporters from different backgrounds, with organisers insisting that the gathering will remain peaceful and lawful.

Abhijeet Dipke And Activists To Seek Police Permission

CJP leaders said Dipke, along with several activists including environmentalist and education reform advocate Sonam Wangchuk, intends to visit Parliament Street Police Station after arriving in Delhi.

The group hopes to obtain the necessary permissions before proceeding with the demonstration.

Speaking ahead of the event, CJP spokesperson Saurav Das urged supporters to cooperate with authorities and avoid creating disruptions.

He also requested that supporters not gather at the airport and instead head directly to the designated meeting point near the police station.

To maintain order during the protest, the organisation released a detailed list of guidelines for participants.

Supporters have been encouraged to carry the national flag and a book, record proceedings, stay hydrated, wear caps and sunscreen, and report any suspicious activity or disruptive behaviour to the police.

Organisers also advised participants to attend with family members where possible and avoid engaging with individuals attempting to provoke confrontation.

The emphasis, according to the group, is on ensuring the protest remains peaceful, disciplined and respectful.

One of the key demands being raised by the group is the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

At a recent press conference in Delhi, CJP representatives reiterated their criticism of the current education system and called for greater accountability from policymakers.

On the eve of the protest, spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka made a final appeal to Prime Minister Modi to remove Pradhan from the Union Cabinet.
