Clean City Indore to now become Green City, gets 'tree ambulance'

Indian city Indore known for its cleanliness, is consistently ranked number one in cleanliness. The Clean City, as it is called, is now moving towards becoming a Green City as well. It has got 'Tree ambulance' which will help to preserve and protect the biodiversity in the city.

The Indore Municipal Corporation in conjunction with its Horticulture department has installed vehicles with all the necessary amenities for the protection of greenery in the capital city.

The Tree ambulance has necessary equipments to maintain and keep the trees around the city healthy. The Municipal Corporation has prepared the ambulance in its own workshop. The ambulance will treat sick, worm-infested trees and plants, according to Pushyamitra Bhargav, Mayor of Indore.


Pushyamitra Bhargav said, "Tree ambulance set up by Indore Municipal Corporation for the protection of biodiversity 'Tree ambulance' is all-in-one with necessities like sprinklers, water arrangements, medicines and other instruments, to maintain green Indore."

The ambulance will provide a variety of service including spraying of trees, spraying of water as well as cutting and pruning.

The ambulance will also help in water arrangements, will provide medicines & other instruments, to maintain greenery in and around Indore.

The Horticulture Department of the Municipal Corporation will operate and maintain the ambulance.

Madhya Pradesh's clean city Indore is now marching ahead to become green city as well.
