CLAT 2023: Exam to be held tomorrow, here’s how candidates can download admit card

The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) will hold Common Law Admission Test 2023 (CLAT) on December 18. The registered candidates who will appear for CLAT 2023 will seek to get admissions into the Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes at the National Law Universities.

The exam which is scheduled to start at 2 pm sharp requires the candidates to report an hour earlier at the examination centres. The exam invigilators will distribute sealed envelopes and also announce the instructions for the exam at 1.50 pm. While, the candidates will not be allowed to leave the examination hall before 4 pm, exceptions can only be made incase of medical emergencies.

The last date for downloading admit cards is today, December 17. Candidates can download their admit cards from https://consortiumofnlus.ac.in/clat-2023/. The candidates are required to carry a valid government ID proof along with their admit cards.


Candidates will also be required to fill a preference form for admission to NLUs. “Candidates must check the respective NLU’s brochure to confirm that they are eligible to apply for admission to the program that they are filling in their preference list,” NLU stated in a statement.

The candidates will be allowed to carry a face mask, black or blue ballpoint pens, a transparent water bottle and an analogue watch inside the examination centre. While, they won’t be allowed to carry bags or any other items during the test.

Candidates need to keep the admit card duly signed by the invigilators as they would be required to produce it during the admissions.

The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) released three sets of sample questions on its website respectively in the months of September, October and November. This will be the first time that there will be Open Campus Visit Days for CLAT 2023 registered candidates.
