Cinema Lovers Day is in for a real treat to movie lovers on January 20 as PVR Cinema is back with another tempting offer to celebrate the day.

PVR cinemas offer a ticket price of just Rs 99 for all the movies to be screened on January 20. This is a huge cut down from the normal price range of Rs. 200-300. Similar discounts are also offered by Inox and CinePolis multiplex theatres.

PVR Cinemas tweeted about the magical offer saying that on Cinema lovers day, it will offer tickets at Rs 99 for any movie, any show to celebrate the magic of movies.


But this offer has some conditions in place. The offer is valid only for the mainstream seats. The recliner seats rate and those with IMAX, 4DX movie experience will be the same. This offer is not valid in all cities in India. It will be only available in Tier 1 cities.

Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh will get the offer at Rs 100. The moviegoers will have to pay the taxes to this offer, making the ticket price around Rs 110- 112. This offer can be availed only on January 20, 2023. In addition to local theatres, the offer is also available on BookMyShow and Paytm.

Movies like 'Ved', 'Avatar', Hollywood animation 'Puss in Boots', 'Kuttey', 'Varisu', 'Thunivu', 'Kashmir Files' which will release again in theatres this week can be watched at just Rs 99. However the snacks and beverage rate will not go down. It will be the same as listed in theatre stalls.

A similar offer was made last year on September 23, 2022 to celebrate National Cinema Day. This initiative drew more than 6.5 million moviegoers across 4000+ screens, making it a successful event.
