CID actor Chandrika Saha files police complaint against husband for injuring baby boy

Television actor Chandrika Saha, known for popular crime shows like CID, Adaalat and Savdhaan India, has filed a police complaint against her husband. Chandrika has alleged that her husband Aman Mishra has assaulted their 15-month-old baby boy. Chandrika had to rush the child to the hospital, after which she filed a formal complaint against her spouse. Chandrika submitted closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage to the police.

Chandrika Saha approached the Bangur Nagar police station in Mumbai for a complaint against her husband. She submitted the CCTV footage from her child’s bedroom, after she found him injured.


As per her complaint to the police, here is what occurred.

Chandrika mentioned that on Friday, May 5, 2023, she was in the kitchen of her home when she heard her baby boy crying. She asked her husband to look after the child, who took the child to his bedroom. Chandrika later heard her son crying again and heard a loud thud. Shocked, she rushed to see what had happened and found the child lying on the floor and with some injuries to his body.

Chandrika rushed her infant child to a private hospital in Malad west in Mumbai. She returned home to check the CCTV footage of the child’s bedroom, and found her husband pushing the infant against the floor, not once but thrice. Upon seeing this, Chandrika lodged a complaint with the local police station.

Chandrika and Aman’s dispute over the child

Chandrika Saha told the police that she was a divorcee before getting married to Aman Mishra. After dating Aman, she got pregnant and he insisted she have an abortion. But the doctors advised against it and the couple kept the baby, getting married when their son was 14 months old. However, Aman continued to have issues with the child.

Chandrika Saha police complaint details

In the Chandrika Saha case, the police have registered a complaint and booked Aman Mishra under section 75 of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 for assaulting a child in one’s custody. Further investigation is on.
