Christmas 2024: Know where Santa Claus is right now. Here is how you can track Santa's location online with NORAD and Google

As Christmas approaches, Google has once again launched its Santa Tracker, allowing users worldwide to follow Santa Claus on his journey. First introduced in 2004, the tracker uses GPS data to monitor Santa’s progress on Christmas Eve. It has since become a beloved holiday feature, offering entertainment for people of all ages.

Norad Santa Tracker
NORAD's Santa Tracker began on December 1, 2024. The tracker shows Santa's village and includes holiday games and music. It's available in nine languages: English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Chinese, and Korean. The tracker is on the NORAD website and mobile apps via the Apple App Store and Google Play. Updates will also be posted on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and X.


Starting at 4 a.m. MST on December 24, the tracker will show Santa's real-time location. People can also call 1-877-HI-NORAD (1-877-446-6723) from 6 a.m. to midnight MST on December 24 for updates.
