Children of Rajasthan cops to get reservation in private colleges, varsities

There's a good news for children of Rajasthan police personnel.

As per a release issue by the Directorate of College Education, children of cops will be given quotas in admissions to state's private colleges and universities.

The quota will be given from the three per cent reservation for the children of defence personnel and ex-servicemen.


The policy will be applicable to kids and wives of all Rajasthan police personnel, including ex-servicemen.

Before the recent change, the reservation policy was only applicable to children of Central Reserve Forces, Army, and ex-employees of the education department.

The Education Department released another statement informing everyone that this change in admission quota will be in effect from the academic year 2022- 23.
