Weather systems influencing rainfall over Tamil Nadu

The IMD attributed the prevailing weather conditions to an upper-air cyclonic circulation over the southwest Bay of Bengal, off the north Tamil Nadu coast, along with a trough extending towards the northwest Bay of Bengal.

These weather systems are expected to contribute to rainfall activity over Tamil Nadu and neighbouring areas over the coming days.

Residents should monitor updates and warnings issued by the IMD as the forecast period progresses.
