Lord Vishnu is believed to rise from his Yoga Nidra on Dev Uthani Ekadashi, November 21, and Manglik works resume across the country from that day, even as Kartik month itself carries on for a few more days till its full moon. Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu remain the primary deities worshipped through this closing month.
