Greg Isenberg, the CEO of Late Checkout, recently shared on Twitter how the ChatGPT chatbot assisted him in recovering Rs 90,68,187 lakh ($109,500) from a customer who suddenly abandoned the company without paying.

Isenberg described how a multi-billion dollar client ghosted the company because they consistently "underpromised and overdelivered" on their creations. He claimed that the incident was destroying the morale of his team, so instead of taking legal action, he considered using ChatGPT to write a bit more of a "scary email" to gain attention.

Isenberg also provided context in the prompt and instructed ChatGPT to act as though it was employed by the finance department and had the responsibility of collecting customer payments.

Soon, the chatbot produced a lengthy email, which Isenberg sent to the company after making a few small adjustments. Surprisingly, exactly two minutes later, a firm executive replied back and informed Isenberg that they were going to make their due payments.

Later, Isenberg thanked ChatGPT and expressed his amusement at how fast it worked. He added that the nicest part was that he felt like the "good cop," while ChatGPT felt like the "bad cop."

Isenberg wondered whether the percentage of professional services and corporate procedures that could be automated using AI was 5%, 25%, 50%, or even higher. He went on to describe a free online forum he set up where members may connect and exchange concepts for using AI to boost productivity.

Isenberg’s Twitter thread went viral within minutes and has sparked a debate on Twitter. While many people appreciate the professional use of AI chatbots, others have feared that these machines might take the place of humans in the industry.
