Chahatt Khanna claims conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar proposed to her in jail on one knee
Chahatt Khanna, who recently recorded her statement in the Rs 200 extortion case involving conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar before Delhi's Patiala House court, recently revealed that the alleged conman proposed to her in Tihar jail.

A money laundering case involving Sukesh Chandrashekhar and Bollywood actors, such as Jacqueline Fernandez and Nora Fatehi, who have also been questioned in connection with the case, is currently under investigation. Arguments in the alleged money laundering case were postponed earlier this month by Delhi's Patiala House Court, and the case will now be heard on February 15 instead.
When asked about her encounter with Sukesh, Chahatt told media that the man introduced himself as the owner of a well-known south Indian TV channel and J Jayalalithaa's nephew and was dressed fancy, wearing a gold chain to match his fancy shirt. "He claimed to be one of my fans, to have watched my television programme, Bade Acche Lagte Hain, and to have the desire to meet me. She said that she yelled at him in a panic, "Why would he call her here? I came here thinking it was an event, but I left my six-month-old baby at home. Then, before I knew what was happening, he got down on one knee and proposed to me.
She said in anger that she is married and she has two kids,'" she continued. But he asserted that he would be a father to my children and that my husband was not the right man for me.
A little more than a year ago, the ED summoned Chahatt in connection with an alleged extortion case involving Sukesh, and it wasn't until then that she realised she had actually met Sukesh Chandrashekhar in Tihar jail and not J Jayalalithaa's nephew.
