CBSE releases 2022-23 sample papers; class 12 Economics sample paper, marking scheme, read more for full details

The Central Board of Secondary Education has released sample papers for Class 10 and Class 12 on its official website. The sample paper will help students in preparation.

CBSE Class 12 board exams are starting on February 15, 2023. Before the exam schedule, the board released the sample papers of different subjects for classes 10 and 12 on its website.

Students can download the class 12 Economics sample paper 2022-23 in PDF format from cbse.gov.in.

As Per the changed exam pattern, this year, CBSE board students will have both objective and subjective-type questions. The subject code of Economics is 030 and the total time allotted for the paper is 3 hours. The entire paper will have five sections namely, Section A, Section B, Section C, Section D, and Section E.

Section A will contain 20 multiple-choice questions or MCQs where each question will carry one mark. Section B will have six very short questions carrying two marks each. In Section C there will be seven questions carrying three marks each. Section D will contain three long questions with a weightage of five marks each. The last section, i.e. Section E will have three source-based questions carrying four marks each.

Ans. CBSE follows NCERT books in its curriculum. All the schools affiliated with CBSE follow NCERTs for teaching.

Q2. When will CBSE release the timetable for board exams in the 2022-23 session?
Ans. The education board usually issues class 10 and class 12 timetables 45 to 60 days before the start of the examination. As exams are starting on February 15, 2023, students can expect a datasheet release by the end of this month.
