CBSE postpones Class 12 verification and re-evaluation portal launch, check new date

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has postponed the launch of its Post-Result Activities portal meant for verification and re-evaluation of answer books, shifting the operational date from the previously planned schedule to June 1, 2026.

Reason for postponement

In a press statement, the board said the decision has been taken to ensure a transparent and glitch-free process for students who intend to submit applications for verification and re-evaluation of their answer sheets. CBSE stated that the move is aimed at maintaining the highest standards and protocols of evaluation while ensuring smooth functioning of the digital system.

New operational timeline

According to the revised schedule, the designated portal will now be made operational from June 1, 2026. The board clarified that the change has been introduced to strengthen the process before allowing student applications through the platform.

Purpose of the portal

The Post-Result Activities portal is designed for students seeking verification and re-evaluation of their answer books after results are declared. It enables candidates to apply for review of their marks through an online system developed for post-result procedures.

Student assistance

CBSE has also issued support details for students who may require assistance regarding the process. Candidates with queries have been advised to contact the CBSE Tele-Counseling Helpline at 1800 11 8004. The board has also provided an email support option at resultcbse2026@cbseshiksha.in for further communication.

The board has maintained that the revised timeline is intended to ensure efficiency and accuracy in handling post-result requests through its evaluation system.
