CBSE issues important notice for lass 10 and Class 12 board exams 2023

Schools affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) were on Sunday issued an important notice regarding the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams to be held in February 2023.

The CBSE informed the schools that the last date for completing Class 10, 12 board exam registration is August 30. The deadline for submitting the LOC -list of candidates - is August 31

The circular signed by the Controller of Exams said this: "As you are aware the last date for Registration for Classes IX and XI is 30.09.2022(Friday) and for submission of the List of Candidates for Classes X and XII is 31.08.2022(Wednesday).


"To ensure that preparations are made foolproof for the examinations, 2023, no extension in the last date for registration and for LOC will be made by the Board.

"All the schools are, therefore, directed to complete their Registration and Submission of List of Candidates without waiting for the last date. It would be the responsibility of the Head of the Institution to ensure that deadlines are met without fail. No request for an extension of the last date will be accepted on any account."

The Board has made it clear there would be no extension of the window and that the schools should meet the deadline.

CBSE Class 10, 12 board exams for 2023 are scheduled to be held on February 15. There will not be two terms like in the academic year that just got over, but instead there be only one exam at the end of the academic year
