CBSE invites applications for CSSS scholarship. College students can apply

College and university students can apply for the Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship (CSSS), with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) inviting applications till October 31.

"All candidates are advised to apply online within the stipulated time and get their online applications verified by the institutions else the application would be treated as invalid," CBSE notified


Application for CSSS 2022 is available online on National Scholarship Portal (NSP): scholarships.gov.in.

Last date for submission of online application form for renewal and for fresh scholarship is October 31, CBSE said.

Bank account details, aadhaar card number, parental income certificate, valid mobile number, e-mail ID, caste certificate (if required), disability certificate (if required), are the documents to be kept ready by applicants

Who can apply

Those who have above 80 per cent in the relevant stream
Those whose family income is less than Rs 8 lakh per annum

• Click on the registration link if you are a first-time user
• Fill in the application form
• Enter login details and fill out the form
• Click 'Submit'
• Download the form, keep a copy for your reference.
