CBSE Class 12th Results Date and Time: When will the board announce results at results.cbse.nic.in; check the latest update here

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to announce the Class 12 results in the third week of May 2026. This was shared by Controller of Examinations Sanyam Bhardwaj during a conversation with PTI. The Class 12 board exams were held from February 17 to April 10, following which the evaluation and result compilation process began.

The results are expected to be released in third week of May. However the exact date and time is not confirmed by the board.

Step 1: Visit the official CBSE results portal results.cbse.nic.in

Step 2: Click on "Senior Secondary School Examination (Class XII) 2026"
Step 3: Enter your roll number, school number, admit card ID, date of birth, and security pin
Step 4: Click on "Submit"
Step 5: Your marksheet will be displayed on the screen

Steps to check via DigiLocker

Step 1: Visit the DigiLocker CBSE portal cbseservices.digilocker.gov.in
Step 2: Click on "Go To Result" and select "View Result" under "CBSE XIIth Result 2026"
Step 3: Enter your roll number and date of birth
Step 4: Click on "Submit" to access your marksheet

Passing criteria

Students must secure at least 33 per cent marks overall, along with separate passing marks in both theory and practical exams, to qualify.
