The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to declare the Class 12 board exam results for 2026 soon. According to multiple reports, the CBSE is likely to announce Board Class 12 results between late April and mid-May 2026. Once released, students and parents can check the results on the official websites cbse.gov.in and results.nic.in.

CBSE Class 12 Result 2026 Expected Date & Time

Reports suggest that CBSE might release the Class 12 board exam results in Mid-May, following the past trends. However, there has been no official confirmation yet from the board on the same. In Class 12, about 10.2 lakh boys and 8.3 lakh girls appeared for the board exams. Last year, CBSE declared the results for Class 12 on May 13.

Once results are released, students can check their Class 12 results on the official websites of CBSE: results.cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.nic.in, and cbse.gov.in. The results can also be checked through results.digilocker.gov.in, umang.gov.in and also through official mobile applications.

Click on “Class XII Result 2026” link

Enter your roll number, school number, Admit Card ID

Click on Submit and your result will appear on screen

CBSE Class 12 results passing marks

To pass the CBSE Class 12 exams in 2026, students must secure a minimum of 33% marks in each subject. This requirement applies separately to both the theory and the practical or internal assessment components. Students who fail in one or two subjects will be eligible to appear for the compartment examinations, which are expected to be held in July 2026.
