CBSE Class 12th Results 2026 Date: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release Class 12 results by the end of April. Students who appeared in the examinations conducted from 17-Feb-2026 to 10-Apr-2026 will be able to check their provisional results online on the official website cbseresults.nic.in.

The CBSE Class 12 results are expected to be announced in last week of April or first week of May. The Board has not yet made an official announcement about the date and time of the results. Typically, the CBSE announces Class 12 results one or two days after the Class 10 results. Last year, the Board released results in mid-May.


How to check Class 12 Results CBSE online

Once Class 12 results are released, they will be available on CBSE’s official websites — cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in, and cbseresults.nic.in — as well as through DigiLocker and the UMANG app. Students will be able to check CBSE Class 12 results through the roll number mentioned on the admit card. Students can check the results by following these steps:

Visit the official website, cbseresults.nic.in.

On the homepage, click on the link for 'Senior School Certificate Examination (Class XII) 2026'.

Enter your Roll Number, School Number, and Admit Card ID.

As soon as you submit, your scorecard will appear on the screen.

Be sure to take a printout of this for future reference.

UMANG, DigiLocker app

As the evaluation process is about to complete, students are advised to regularly check official platforms, including DigiLocker and the UMANG app, for updates. They should keep admit cards handy as it will help ensure quick access once the results are announced.

The Board has instructed schools to provide students with a 6-digit 'Security PIN'. Using this PIN, students can download their mark sheets and migration certificates from DigiLocker. If the website crashes, students can also use the UMANG app and IVRS service.
