The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will hold the Class 10 Science Examination 2026 on February 25, 2026. The exam will be conducted in a single shift from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.

The theory paper will carry 80 marks and students will be given a duration of three hours to complete it.

Exam Pattern and Structure

The question paper will include questions divided into three sections:

  • Section A – Biology
  • Section B – Chemistry
  • Section C – Physics
All questions are compulsory. However, some questions will include internal choices. Students are required to attempt only one option from the given alternatives.

Last-Day Preparation Strategy

Experts suggest that solving sample papers a day before the exam helps students familiarise themselves with the real exam setting. Practising these papers enhances speed, accuracy, and confidence while also identifying weak areas that need quick revision.

Top scorers advise that the final day before the exam should be carefully structured and free from stress. Instead of trying to learn new topics, students should focus on revising what they have already studied and boosting their confidence. Maintaining a calm and positive mindset is considered crucial for performing well.
