The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced the timetable for the Class 10 and Class 12 supplementary exams for 2025. These exams will begin on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, and are a second chance for students who either could not pass their regular board exams or want to improve their scores.

Students are advised to visit the official website, cbse.gov.in, to check the full schedule and plan their studies accordingly.

What Subjects Are Included?

The exams will begin at 10:30 AM and end around 1:30 PM, depending on the subject. Some vocational papers will have a two-hour duration.


On the first day, students will write papers for key subjects such as:
  • English Elective
  • Hindi Elective
  • Urdu Elective
  • Sanskrit Elective
  • History, Political Science, Geography, and Economics
  • Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Biotechnology, and Engineering Graphics
The schedule also includes:
  • Business Studies, Accountancy, Informatics Practices, Computer Science, Home Science
  • Regional languages such as Punjabi, Bengali, Malayalam, Nepali, French, and more
  • Vocational subjects like Retail, IT, Web Application, Automotive, Beauty & Wellness, Agriculture, and others

Important Guidelines for Students

CBSE has issued important instructions for all candidates:

  • Admit cards must be brought to the exam centre.
  • Electronic devices, including mobile phones and smartwatches, are not allowed in the exam hall.
  • Students will be given 15 minutes of reading time before the start of the exam.
  • All students must follow the rules strictly to avoid penalties under the Unfair Means (UFM) rules.
