Lokhande Prashant Sitaram is a 2001-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the AGMUT cadre. He is currently serving as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi, a position he has held since April 1, 2026.
Over the course of his career, he has served in various capacities, including Joint Secretary, Director, Deputy Secretary, Private Secretary, Counsellor, Deputy Commissioner and Secretary.
Educational background
Born on November 20, 1973, Lokhande holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Pune University. He also possesses a Postgraduate Diploma in Industrial Engineering from the National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE), Mumbai.Awards and achievements
