CBSE Board Exams: Class 12 and Class 10 practical exams to commence from January 2

CBSE issued the dates for Class 12 and Class 10 Board practical exams which will be conducted from January 2 - January 14, 2023. It also issued important guidelines for the exam.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the practical exam dates for Classes 12 and Classes 10 for the 2022-2023 academic session. The practical exams will commence on January 2, 2023, and will be concluded by January 14, 2023.

The schools have been instructed to upload the marks or internal grades of students between January 2 to February 14, 2023. The board further urged all the schools to prepare a plan based on the number of students registered in the schools in the relevant subjects and inform them timely about the registration so that all the students can appear in the practical exam.

CBSE board has also allowed rescheduling exams for those students who miss the practical exams on the given date due to any reason within the stipulated timetable. However, the students who will be absent on the scheduled exam date will be marked absent on the online portal, and those who appear on the rescheduled date will be marked as ‘Rescheduled.’

The board directed all the schools to ensure the completion of exams of all the enrolled students as per the scheduled timetable. It further directed the schools to follow strictly the standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidelines for conducting practical examinations.

The CBSE board will however not allow conducting practical exams beyond the scheduled timetable. The instructions can be checked in detail at the CBSE’s official website.
