Caught on cam: SUV hits stationary vehicles in Delhi, injures man on bike

The 19-year-old man on the motorcycle was critically injured after the SUV dragged him for at least 100 metres, IANS reported.

An SUV lost control in a busy road in Delhi and rammed into stationary vehicles before hitting a motocyclist, reports said on Tuesday describing CCTV footage of the incident.

The 19-year-old man on the motorcycle was critically injured after the SUV dragged him for at least a 100 metres, IANS reported.

A 59-second video clip of the incident taken from a roadside CCTV camera showed the Fortuner SUV hitting multiple vehicles in the Karol Bagh area of the city on Monday evening, the report said.


An Indian Express report said this happened around 7.45 pm and that locals rushed to help the injured and stop the car.

The driver of the offending vehicle, identified as Sudhir Jain, was apprehended from the spot and sent for medical examination.

The injured man was also shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment where later his condition was said to be stable.
