On Saturday, in the Legends League Cricket 2023 Eliminator match between Asia Lions and India Maharajas, Mohammad Kaif showed off his excellent fielding skills with two stunning catches. In the eighth over of Pragyan Ojha's innings, Kaif took a one-handed catch to dismiss Upul Tharanga. He then took a diving catch in the long-off region to send Mohammad Hafeez back to the pavilion in the 16th over of Pravin Tambe. Despite Tharanga, Hafeez, and Asghar Afghan scoring 50, 38, and 34 runs respectively, the Lions put up a huge total of 191 runs, with Binny and Pragyan Ojha taking two wickets each for India Maharajas.



In response, India Maharajas' skipper Gautam Gambhir scored 32 and Uthappa got 15, but they were unable to read Sohail Tanvir, Abdur Razzak, and Hafeez. India Maharajas were all out for just 106 runs in 16.4 overs, with Kaif scoring 14 off 11 balls with two fours. The Lions and World Giants will square off in the tournament's championship game.


Before the match, former India teammates and current India Maharajas' stars Suresh Raina and Harbhajan Singh danced to the Oscar-award winning song 'Naatu Naatu.'
