Car stunt goes wrong in Gurugram, killing one

A car stunt in Haryana's Gurugram has gone horribly wrong, resulting in the death of a person.

A CCTV camera recording of the incident has gone viral on the internet.

The video, dated November 6, has been shared by many on Twitter today.


In the video, an SUV can be seen coming at a high speed around 2 AM. Seeing the speeding SUV, some people who are on the road run frantically for cover.

The car doesn't slow down and can be seen coming directly towards the people who seemed to have huddled together in front of a liquor shop.

The SUV driver then apparently tries to drift the car, a Maruti Ertiga.

It did manage to apply brakes, but not before ramming the people standing there.

The car driver, reportedly drunk, then quickly turns and flees the scene.

"A man was killed and two others were injured as they were hit by a person performing stunts with his car in Gurugram. We found, they were under the influence of alcohol. 7 accused were arrested, and two cars were impounded. Further investigation underway," Preetpal Singh, ACP Gurugram, told mediapersons.
