In the purported 15-second video, the tenant standing bare-chested in a white pant, can be heard hurling abuses at the tenant as he throws his belongings out of the house. The tenant undeterred by the shouting continues to remove the Indian man's belongings out of the house, the viral video shows.
According to reports, the duo had a fight because the tenant was not ready to vacate the house, prompting the landlord to take this step.
The video was shared by an X handle 'Ghar ka Kalesh' and its caption read, "The caption of the video read: “Desi guy and his landlord over he had fight with landlord because he was not vacating the house then the landlord came and started moving his stuff out by himself, Brampton, Canada.” (sic)
How netizens reacted
While some social media users joked about the situation saying that the Indian man received a free movers and packers service, others view the incident as a more “complex” issue that requires understanding from both sides."The tenant might have reasons for not vacating, but it’s also unfair for landlords to feel powerless. Unfortunately, it had to escalate to this point. I feel for both sides here. This is a complex issue that requires more understanding from both parties," wrote another.
"They had enough of him," another user commented.
One of the users blamed the family of Canadian PM Justin Trudeau and their policies, adding that they have "ruined" Canada. "The Trudeau family and their terrible policies have ruined Canada. This is really uncomfortable to watch," a third user added.
