CA September 2025 exam dates out: Check full exam schedule for final, inter and foundation courses, process of applying and other details

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released the detailed schedule for the Chartered Accountants (CA) September 2025 examinations. The timetable includes exam dates for all three levels — Foundation, Intermediate (Inter), and Final courses.

Issued under Regulation 22 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988, the notification outlines the exam dates, timings, and key guidelines for submitting online application forms. The exams will be held on various dates in September 2025, subject to sufficient registrations at designated centres.


Final, inter and foundation courses' dates
The Final Course Examination will be conducted in two groups: Group I on September 3, 6, and 8, 2025, and Group II on September 10, 12, and 14, 2025. Similarly, the Intermediate Course Examination is split into two groups, with Group I scheduled for September 4, 7, and 9, and Group II on September 11, 13, and 15, 2025. The Foundation Course Examination will take place on four dates: September 16, 18, 20, and 22, 2025.

It is important to note that no examinations will be held on September 5, 2025, in observance of the Milad-un-Nabi gazetted holiday declared by the Central Government. Additionally, candidates should be aware that if any other examination date is subsequently declared a public holiday by the Central or State Governments, the exam schedule will remain unchanged.

How and when to apply for the CA September 2025 exams
Candidates can submit their examination application forms online through the Self Service Portal (SSP) at https://eservices.icai.org. The application window will open on July 5, 2025, with the last date for submission without a late fee set for July 18, 2025. Applications submitted after this date will incur a late fee of Rs 600 for centres in India, Bhutan, and Kathmandu, or US$10 for overseas centres, and will be accepted until July 21, 2025.

A correction window will be available from July 22 to July 24, 2025, allowing candidates to modify their examination city or medium. Candidates are encouraged to use the SSP portal to create or update their login credentials, register or convert their courses, and upload required documents such as photographs and signatures.
