'Buy my perfume, so I can buy Twitter': Elon Musk appeals followers
Hours after launching his own perfume 'Burnt Hair', Elon Musk has followed it up with an amusing appeal to his followers.

"Please buy my perfume, so I can buy Twitter," the world's richest man wrote on Twitter Wednesday.
'Burnt Hair' is sold at $100 a pop, and Musk said already sold 20,000 bottles of the scent within a day of launch.
Musk is expected to complete a $44-billion takeover of Twitter by the end of the month, failing which a trial for a breach-of-contract suit in the deal will take place in November.

The Tesla CEO even changed his Twitter bio to read 'Perfume Salesman' and a link to the product's sale page via the website for his startup The Boring Company is included as a pinned tweet.
"With a name like mine, getting into the fragrance business was inevitable -- why did I even fight it for so long!?" he joked on Twitter.
"Just like leaning over a candle at the dinner table, but without all the hard work," the website page of 'Burnt Hair' reads. "Stand out in a crowd! Get noticed as you walk through the airport."
