Kevin Ford, a Burger King employee who recently became viral and was celebrated by the internet for completing 27 years of service without a single day of leave, has a big reason to be on cloud nine right now.

His employer thanked him by giving him a gift bag. This gift bag contained tickets to a movie, a Starbucks sipper, some chocolates, and mints.

The internet thought it was very less compared to his years of service. The same was his daughter’s thought too. So, Kevin's daughter Seryna started a fundraising page for him on GoFundMe and the internet had a huge surprise for him.

Here's the video:

The donation page has received almost Rs 1.5 crore donations. She did this in order to acknowledge her father’s effort for 27 years in raising his children and never missing a day of work or taking a leave. The internet didn’t hold back on emotions for him and poured their hearts out of love and money for Kevin Ford.

The comedian and actor David Spade was reportedly amongst the first people to donate. He is said to have made a donation of approximately Rs 3.9 lakh, leaving Kevin all emotional.
