South Korean rapper Suga of BTS fame has dropped his debut solo album today, and fans can’t stop screaming. Suga will be going under the moniker Agust D for his individual singing career. He has used a number of monikers over the years.

About D-Day



On Friday, April 21, 2023, BTS band member Suga released D-day, his debut solo album. The new album has been released under his moniker Agust D on Big Hit Music. The album features artists such as South Korean singer-songwriter IU and the late Academy Award-winning Japanese composer Ryuichi Sakamoto, with some co-writing credits with South Korean rapper J-Hope.

D-Day has 10 tracks, including the lead single ‘People Pt.2’ featuring IU. D-Day also features the already popular title track ‘Haegeum’, as well as the songs ‘HUH?!’, (co-written by J-Hope), ‘Amygdala,’ ‘Interlude: Dawn,’ ‘Snooze’ (featuring Ryuichi Sakamoto, and Kim Woosung of The Rose), and some more tracks.

BTS is a South Korean K-Pop boy band and is the most popular boy band currently in the world. BTS stands for Bangtan Sonyeondan, which in English means Bulletproof Boy Scouts or simply Bangtan Boys. They have also been nicknamed Beyond the Scene.

Suga Documentary ‘Road to D-Day’


To coincide with the release of his solo album D-Day, Suga will also be releasing a ‘companion documentary’ titled Road to D-DAY. The documentary film will showcase the K-pop icon’s creative process and his studio recordings.

With the release of his solo album, Suga will be having his exclusive radio sho on Apple Music, titled Agust D Radio. The first episode of Agust D Radio has aired this week while the remaining episodes, five in number, will release in the next four weeks. The timings of Agust D Radio are as follows: 7 pm PT Mondays / 11AM KST Tuesdays.
