BTS j-hope confirms his military enlistment date, promises to return to Weverse Live
BTS member j-hope confirms he has received notice for military enlistment, becoming the second member after Jin.

Despite the news of his enlistment, j-hope assured ARMY that this is not his last Weverse LIVE before he leaves. He also recently released a solo song called "On the street" featuring J. Cole, which he wrote with the fans in mind. Additionally, a documentary called "j-hope IN THE BOX" was recently released on Disney+ Hotstar, detailing j-hope's journey in producing his first official solo album "Jack In The Box."
In a statement posted on the South Korean group's fan community forum Weverse, the BigHit agency confirmed that j-hope has applied for the termination of his enlistment postponement. The agency also asked for continued love and support for j-hope until he completes his military service and returns safely, promising to provide support for the artist during his service.
The South Korean government requires all able-bodied men aged between 18 and 28 to serve in the military for about 18 months. However, artists who have contributed to promoting Korean culture internationally are given the option to defer their service until the age of 30.
With Jin already enlisted and j-hope soon to follow, fans are now waiting for updates on when the other BTS members will serve. Nonetheless, fans continue to show their support for the group and are eagerly anticipating their future music releases.
