Brahamstra Teaser out featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna

Alia Bhatt gave fans a small glimpse of the much-awaited film Brahmastra, which is all set to release this year. Bhatt took to Instagram to share the teaser alongside the caption, “In just 100 Days, BRAHMASTRA: Part One will be all yours.” The film stars newlyweds Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in primary roles while Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna are cast in supporting roles. While fans have already been treated to a glimpse of the first look of Ranbir’s character Shiva and Alia’s character, Isha, the new teaser also unveiled Amitabh, Mouni, and Nagarjuna’s first look from the film.

The teaser features several exciting elements from mythology such as a trident (Trishul), fireballs, a mythical sword, and a mighty bow along with arrows. The enigma of this much-anticipated film is also intensified with the showcase of the superhero powers of each character that are all connected with Kapoor’s character, Shiva.

The motion poster of the film was released last year in December and the first look of Alia Bhatt’s character, Isha was released by director Ayan Mukherji on the occasion of the actor’s birthday. Mukherji also released the teaser of the song Kesariya from the movie on the day of the star couple’s wedding which immediately went viral on the internet.


The wait for the film Brahmastra has been long with the release date being postponed numerous times for several reasons. An announcement by Ayan Mukherji stated that the shooting of the film was officially wrapped up in March this year. In a post on Instagram, sharing pictures with Ranbir and Alia, he captioned it, 5 years since we took our first shot on Brahmastra, and we’ve finally filmed our last one! Absolutely incredible, challenging, once-in-a-lifetime journey!!! Some hand of destiny that we finished the shoot of “Part One: Shiva” in Varanasi- a city infused with the spirit of Shiv Bhagwan, and that too at the most sacred Kashi Vishwanath Mandir, allowing us to finish in an atmosphere of purity, joy, and blessings. Exciting days ahead, last lap ahead! 09.09.2022- Here we come.”, officially ending the wait for eager and awaiting fans.
