The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has issued the advertisement for the fourth phase of the School Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE-4.0). Under Advertisement No. 14/2026, the Commission has invited online applications from eligible Indian citizens for 32,388 vacant teacher positions under the Education Department, Bihar.

BPSC TRE 4.0 Eligibility Criteria

Post	Eligibility

Primary Teacher (Classes 1-5)

12th with 45-50% marks + D.El.Ed/B.El.Ed, OR Graduation with 50% marks + D.El.Ed; CTET/STET Paper 1 qualified

Middle School Teacher (Classes 6-8)

Graduation/PG with 45-50% marks + B.Ed, OR 4-year BA.Ed/BSc.Ed/B.El.Ed

Secondary Teacher (Classes 9-10)

Graduation/PG with 50% marks + B.Ed, OR 4-year BA.Ed/BSc.Ed; relevant subject studied at graduation level is mandatory

Higher Secondary Teacher (Classes 11-12)

Master’s degree with 55% marks (50% for reserved categories) + B.Ed; STET Paper 2 required

Age Limit

PRT: Minimum 18 years; Secondary/Higher Secondary: Minimum 21 years
