Black Clover fans may not have to wait much longer, as fresh reports hint at a possible return of the popular anime in 2026. It has been nearly five years since Asta and the Magic Knights were last seen on screen, leaving audiences eagerly awaiting the continuation of the story.

While the makers had earlier confirmed a 2026 release window for the next installment—officially referred to as Season 2 but effectively Season 5—no exact premiere date was announced at the time. However, recent updates suggest that the anime could premiere as early as October 2026, though an official confirmation is still awaited.

Earlier, English voice actor Colleen Clinkenbeard (who voices Charlotte) had hinted at an April release during a convention appearance, but later clarified the timeline. According to reports circulating online, the updated schedule now points toward a later release in the year.



At Jump Festa 2026 held on December 21, 2025, Studio Pierrot unveiled the teaser trailer and key visual for the upcoming season. The new arc will continue the Spade Kingdom Raid storyline, where Asta and the Magic Knights launch a major mission to rescue Captain Yami Sukehiro and William Vangeance.

The upcoming season adapts the Spade Kingdom Raid arc from Yuki Tabata’s manga, originally serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2015 to 2023 before transitioning to Jump GIGA.

Streaming platform Crunchyroll is expected to simulcast the new season globally, alongside its existing library of all 170 previous episodes in both subbed and dubbed formats.
