Shashi Tharoor praises BJP's poll machinery
Tharoor listed three factors 'professional approach, robust organisational network and extensive deployment of resources' for BJP's success in the recently concluded elections. According to the Congress leader, the party's meticulous planning and campaign management are something rival parties should learn to sharpen their electoral strategies."They (PM Modi and HM Amit Shah) have done a good job in Bengal and Assam and that's partially because they are very good at conducting elections. They are professionally organised. They have strong organisational strength. They put a lot of resources, including financial resources, into their campaign," Tharoor told news agency ANI.
The Congress leader added that there were lessons to be learned from the BJP’s election management. However, he also expressed hope that the party’s messaging going forward would focus on unity.
"There are things that all of us can learn from that. I would only hope that their message will be one of uniting Indians and not dividing them," he stated.

On election results in four states and one UT, Congress MP said, "I think the party will have to do some very serious introspection, no doubt about it.
