Bihar Police freeze four accounts of YouTuber Manish Kashyap in connection with 'fake videos'

In a series of tweets, the Bihar Police announced updates on actions taken by the Economic Offenses Unit, regarding the circulation of a misleading video regarding residents of Bihar working in Tamil Nadu.

According to reports, police in the state of Bihar conducted raids on YouTuber Manish Kashyap and frozen his bank account deposits.

In a series of tweets, the Bihar Police announced updates on actions taken by the Economic Offenses Unit, regarding the circulation of a misleading video regarding residents of Bihar working in Tamil Nadu.

Police announced that a warrant for arrest was obtained against the FIR accused Manish Kashyap and Yuvraj Singh Rajput, and further detailed the accounts that were frozen and the amount of money in them.



The YouTuber has been charged with disseminating a fictitious film about a purported attack on Bihari labourers residing in Tamil Nadu. Kashyap's Twitter account was subsequently blocked.
