An X post that is going viral claims that a couple from Bihar disguised themselves as beggars and spent months travelling across different cities in search of their two missing sons.

According to the post, the family had moved to Mundra in Gujarat in search of work and was living there with their two boys, 14-year-old Rahul and 11-year-old Arpit. On January 15, both children reportedly left home to play but did not return.

The parents allegedly searched nearby areas, contacted relatives and friends and approached the police, but initially failed to find any trace of the boys.

Parents reportedly leave jobs to search across states

Three months after the children disappeared, the couple reportedly began suspecting that their sons could have been taken by a beggar gang.

The viral post claims that the parents then left their jobs and began travelling while posing as beggars themselves. Their search allegedly took them through several states, including Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.

However, the search for their younger son Arpit continued, according to the X post.
