Bigg Boss Malayalam 5 official teaser out where host Mohanlal reveals the theme of the show

Asianet recently revealed the official teaser of Bigg Boss Malayalam 5. In the teaser, show host Mohanlal discloses the theme of this season’s Bigg Boss Malayalam, which is ‘The Originals’. He starts by saying in Malayalam that ‘original’ is a powerful word, which starts with the letter ‘O’.

In the 1.55-minute-long teaser, Mohanlal is seen walking through the huge letter ‘O’ on stage to enter into everyday life, where three real-life instances are highlighted stressing the importance of originality. The show host appears interacting with people indulging in casteism, stereotyping of women and typecasting, where Mohanlal establishes the value of original people.




He says in the last part of the teaser that the original people are unstoppable. And calls upon the audience to witness and enjoy the unique, vibrant, different and original contestants in this Bigg Boss Malayalam season. He concludes the video by saying ‘Let us celebrate the Bigg Boss Malayalam 5’ and iterating the theme ‘Originals’ at last.

This season will have a commoner as a contestant for the first time ever. The process of selection for commoner contestants is still going on. The Bigg Boss Malayalam team had earlier announced and called people for the audition. The show will premiere on March 26 on Disney+Hotstar.
