Bigg Boss 16: Shalin Bhanot rejects Rohit Shetty’s offer for Khatron Ke Khiladi; Here’s why

After more than four months, the reality show Bigg Boss 16 is set to come to an end today (February 12). The show consists of the top five contestants including Shiv Thakare, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, MC Stan, Shalin Bhanot and Archana Gautam who are in the running for lifting the trophy. Ahead of the finale, renowned filmmaker Rohit Shetty stepped inside the Bigg Boss house with a golden opportunity for the five finalists.

Rohit Shetty auditioned five contestants for his stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi. Shalin Bhanot won all the tasks and offered to be the first confirmed contestant of the KKK.

However, in a shocking surprise, the actor rejected the offer as he said that he is scared of electric currents and reptiles a lot. Following this, the director urged Bhanot to give one shot at the stunt-based reality show. However, Bhanot was not convinced and again turned down the offer.




This came as a shocker to the rest of the contestants as well as fans too. Shalin was immediately called out by Archana Gautam for insulting the director. She made fun of the actor, claiming that he shouldn't have given such a strong performance if he wasn't genuinely interested in the offer. On the other hand, Shiv Thakare hopes to receive a similar offer from Rohit Shetty. He claims that being a part of Khatron Ke Khiladi has been a childhood dream of his.

Later, as the director left the Bigg Boss 16 house, he mentioned that the Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 will not consist of just one contestant from Bigg Boss 16 who will participate in the show.
