Bigg Boss 16: Salman Khan to charge over Rs 1000 crore for upcoming season?

Bigg Boss is one of India's most popular reality TV show hosted by superstar Salman Khan. The latest season caught the attention of the media way before the official launch. After hosting for the past thirteen years, Salman Khan will be back as a host for the much-awaited latest season. The actor has already given his nod to host Bigg Boss 16 at a recently held award function in Abu Dhabi.

Reportedly he had planned to leave many times over the past thirteen seasons, but none of this turned true. Dabang Khan admitted that whenever he planned to leave, the producers managed to persuade him every time. It is believed that for the latest season, the Bigg Boss' host demanded the payment to be triple of the original value.

If this is true, the superstar will receive approximately Rs 1050 crore as the payment for hosting this season. For Bigg Boss 15 Salman Khan was paid roughly Rs 350 crore as fees.

How much did Salman Khan charge for the previous Bigg Boss seasons?

According to reports, Dabangg Khan charged a whopping Rs 350 crore for Bigg Boss 15 over fourteen weeks. This means that he was paid Rs 25 crore per weekend. In terms of a single day, the amount is approximately Rs 12 crore.

In the past, Salman Khan was paid Rs 2.5 crore per episode for seasons four, five, and six. For Bigg Boss 7, the star doubled the fee to about Rs 5 crore per episode. For BB 10, the makers paid him about Rs 8 crore for each reality show episode.

When will the upcoming Bigg Boss 16 season air?

The upcoming Bigg Boss 16 is currently a hot topic in the entertainment news as the list of the much-anticipated candidates to enter the Bigg Boss house continues to grow.
