Bigg Boss 16: After Tina Datta's eviction, Shalin Bhanot claimed he 'never liked her'

Big Boss 16, contestant Shalin Bhanot said during the latest episode that he never liked Tina Datta after the latter got eliminated. The show has managed to keep the viewers hooked with fresh plots and twists, fanning more drama. Host Salman Khan gave Shalin the task of saving his friends Tina and Sumbul Touqeer from eviction. What transpired was shocking to many.

Adding more twist to the game, Salman said that Shalin will be able to save one only after Rs 25 lakh gets deducted from the cash prize. The second option given to him was, Shalin gets his prize money and one of the above-mentioned contestants gets evicted. Thus, when Shalin got a chance to press the buzzer to save Tina, he refused to save his money. Subsequently, Tina was eliminated.

Following Tina's eviction, Shalin could be seen crying in front of Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Ankit Gupta but soon took a U-turn. He later claimed that he didn't like Tina, and the only reason that he was close to her was that she cooked chicken for him. The actor also claimed that he would never talk to her outside of the house since he’d have restaurants to take care of his food needs.



However, the upcoming episode's promo showed Big Boss giving Shalin another opportunity to get Tina back, though he would lose Rs.25,00,000. This time, Shalin pressed the buzzer, saying that he would pay the lost prize money to the contestants. As soon as Tina entered the house, she blasted Shalin and questioned why it took so long for him to save her.
