Bhediya Day 3 collections: Varun Dhawan-starrer holds its own against Drishyam 2

Varun Dhawan starrer Bhediya has managed to hold its own at the box office, competing with the star-studded Drishyam 2. On its third day in theatres, the Amar Kaushik directorial venture has collected close to Rs 30 crore in its first three days.

Released on Friday, November 25, the supernatural horror-comedy has picked up over the weekend, rising from an opening day collection of Rs seven crore by 35-40% to Rs nine crore on the second day.

On Sunday, the film earned in double digits, minting Rs 11 crore. With that number, the total collection clocked in at Rs 28.05 crore.


Though the film is doing great, it is far behind Drishyam 2, starring Ajay Devgn, which collected around Rs. 20-21 crore on the second day.

While collections have been good, there has been a dip post the weekend. The dent in the footfalls is also attributed to the poor VFX quality, as releasing the movie in 3D didn't add much to the box office collection.
