BGMI 3.8 Update: Here is the release date, new features, download size and how to install on Android and iOS

Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) is set to release the much anticipated 3.8 update today, May 15. The update is filled with new features and a special Attack on Titan-inspired theme, promising new experience for gamers.

The gameplay is set to be taken to the next level with the 3.8 version as there will be giant battles to loot trains in the newest version.

Kraftkon has begun rolling out the BGMI 3.8 update in India from today. However, it will not be available immediately for all users. The update is being rolled out in phases on both Android and iOS devices. The update will be available based on the region or smartphone model.

BGMI 3.8 Update Features

The highlight of the 3.8 version is the Steampunk Frontier Theme Mode, which is based on the hit anime Attack on Titan.

There will be two new hot drop locations on the Erangel map, around Shooting Range and Mylta, and will feature high-quality loot and close combat action.

Other key features

• Giant Potion: This potion allows a player to become a giant for a short time. Better still, teammates can ride on your shoulder! However, don't forget that the effect eventually ends, so use it carefully.
• Mechanical Hook: Just like Spider-Man's web-slinging, this new tool enables players to swing through territories, introducing more excitement and strategy to the game.
• Loot Trains: Two moving trains carrying special weapons and items will now traverse the map, providing players with a new means of preparing for matches.
