— मुंबई पोलीस - Mumbai Police (@MumbaiPolice) 1665544832000According to a news report, which quoted the online community platform LocalCircles, stated that recently only 5% of mobile subscribers who were surveyed are ready to move to 5G in 2022.
The report also added that while many smartphone users are likely to make the switch to a 5G network if it addresses the issues of call drop/connectivity, network availability and low speed. Another 43% stated that they are willing to pay up to 10% extra tariff for the 5G network.
Out of more than 500 million smartphone users in India, about 100 million are expected to have a 5G-ready device by the end of this year.
