Besharam Rang: Mukesh Khanna says Pathaan song can 'mess up with the minds of youth'

The first song of 'Pathaan', 'Besharam Rang' starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, has landed into several controversies. Some section of the audience has liked its sensual appeal, a large segment of people has crticised the song. BJP minister Narottam Mishra and BJP MLA Ram Kadam have criticised the costumes worn by Deepika Padukone in the song, especially the safron bikini.

The Shaktiman actor, Mukesh Khanna has also commented on the discussion and criticised the song. Khanna said in an interview that our industry has gone haywire. The Bheeshma Pitamaha of the Mahabharata added that this is a matter of vulgarity and it has nothing to do with relgion, the censor board is no Supreme court.

Commneting upon the song, Mukesh slammed that our country is not a western country that allows everything. Today, they've dared to bring people in such limited clothing, next they can bring them without clothes, he said. The actor criticised the censor board for passing such films, since it's not for OTT, the film is made for theatre. The Shaktiman actor further said how could the consor Board pass it? Did they not see the deliberate provocating dressing? Khanna said He said that our country is no Spain or Sweden or such a country that allows everything.
